It just depends on the carpet, the quality of the equipment used, and the quality of the tech who performs the cleaning. I often inform my customers that there are many cleaning methods, and each of them has their place, but the most important thing is that you have a technician who puts in the effort to do quality work.

How ever I think i am going to buy the Activator for both the carpet and hardfloor cleaning as a second more cersatile machine .

 Anyone has experince with it or anything better to suggest

1. For what sort of carpets/quality of jobs bonet carpet cleaning is used as the only cleaning method ?

2. Can I sue the bonnet cleaning machine for hard floor scrubbing and polishing , of course with diffrenet pads ?

Hydrogen Peroxide is in Carpet Cleaning Crystal by Core Products.

If you are looking for fiz throw in a handfull of Cow Brand Baking Soda. It's reaction produces Carbon Dioxide.

From what we see here at KK DFC is the closest product I have seen to the Chem-Dry formula. Changing peoples minds to use a friendlier, healthier product is a difficult task. Seems that most want to kill a mouse with an elephant and coffing and chocking while doing it.

You say you use RX-20 then bonnet. Obviously you are dedicated to the proper equipment and quality.

Suggestion:

In stead of spin-bonneting try an orbitor with a 100% Egyptian pad. That will kick it up three more notches.

I use the RX-20 with a portable extractor (Ninja 500, very satisfied). Yes, I follow up with a bonnet (first a poly bonnet, then a cotton bonnet). By the time I finish, I've gone over that carpet several times. It looks great, and it's almost dry.

Pressurizing a cannister will not make its contents carbonated. Chem-Dry has a powder that they add to water in order to make their cleaning solution. The powder reacts to water like Alka Seltzer, except much more intense. That's what makes it fizzy. The co2 in the cannister only pressurizes the solution so you can spray--it has nothing to do with the carbonation.

When I use the DFC 105, I sometimes boost the cleaning with a citrus-based solvent, like Bridgepoint's "Citrus Solv" or KleenRite's "Dissolve Citrus," but you'll need a solvent-safe cannister for that. You can also use the solvent undiluted as a spotter. Then have some other spotting chemicals on hand for whatever else comes up (urine, etc.). Most of my arsenal is made up of either Chemspec, Bridgepoint, or Pro's Choice products, but there's a lot of effective stuff out there.
