No kidding. I normally do all I can to help out start ups, but when you've done a whole 89 jobs and know everything , why bother? Gee, he must be brilliant, because I'm still learning after 30 years. Good luck to him anyway. Edited by Just Ol' Willy - 05/June/2008 at 8:19am |

Gone and nearly forgotten. I suspect he'll be back under a new handle, that is if he isn't already. Maybe you can finish that neighborhood yet.

Are you in a high paying business or are you just a self employed low paid grunt who thinks this business provides dignity?

If your really serious about starting a business in carpet cleaning, I would highly recommend Jon-Don's "strategies for success". I am a previous class member and being in this industry for 16 years, it was the best one week investment I ever made into my career! That being said, if money isn't an issue, why not a truck mount. You can't even get close to comparison of the power in a truckmount. If anyone thinks differently, I challenge you to show me wrong. I've been looking for a portable for awhile now and the Cleancraft Eclipse seems to be the most powerful on the market yet still not close to a truckmount. A truck mount will certainly make your life easier. Slacks

Whatever John L. Did you offer any advice to help Maxima get started besides "Buy a TM?" I think not. I came to this site to get help from my peers on purchasing the best portable available. While here if I can offer others advice I will. Have you been to a Strategies For Success class? Probably not so whether I am payed by jon-don to sell their class or not its at least worth looking into for Maxima if starting a business in cleaning. By the way, like I said I've been in this industry for 16 years and this past february I attended the tampa bay class and it changed the way I look at my business. I am forever grateful for the class and thats why I recommend it to anyone whether rookie or pro! P
P.S. I have nothing to gain by recommending the class. You can check out my attendance in the class this past february under Travis Popp

I run a pro chem legend and dream of the day when I can buy a dodge sprinter with a pro chem everest hP. Right now I'm looking into tapping the huge market of beach high rises around west palm beach with a portable. I don't want to waste my time and money isn't the issue, performance is. From the stats, it seems the cleancraft eclipse is the best. Any thoughts?

Nice unit the Legend..Almost bought that unit 3yrs ago but wanted liquid cooled.. I'm running a Recoil-2HP with 3/3stage AmetekLamb vacs for anything that cant be rached past 250-300ft with the TM and highrise apt's AND a PowerClean Freedom-XT45..OH YEAH! Now about the Eclipse being the best is up for grabs.. You have some competition like the CrossAmerican Recoil XPS the Timbuktoo Infinity and the Habitek Pelican.. All very powerful portables..A friend of mine in Fond Du Lac WI has the Eclipse and does like it alot.. He also has the ProChem Cheyenne.. Edited by John L - 10/August/2008 at 9:38am |
