On a recent Alaska cruise
there were quite a few Canadians and British folks on board. One thing I noticed though out the whole cruise Canadians dont tip never saw one tip the bartenders and the last night of the cruise for the last dinner many empty tables most Canadians WHY this is the night when you tip your servers Hummmmmmmm I have many friends that work for Norwegian cruise lines none are waiters or service staff but the complaints are universal about the Canadians and the Brits Why is this Even down here in Bellingham many Canadians come down for week ends and holidays to get away from the Vancouver and lower main land rat race. I see the same thing I have heard Canadians say "we dont live with those folks why bother" they still have to serve us. Or they should be happy we are just coming down and spending our money. hahahaha... if your on a cruise you don't tip during the cruise... you leave the tip at the end in your state room... didn't you know that... the staff then divides it.. I know Americans don't tip... cheapest SOB on the planet |

I have never heard of that Nordic, but then again I never get a chance to travel much. I always thought the only people who are lousy tippers are teachers. I do know that Ted and Linda go on alot of cruises and the tip is automatically put on there credit card at a high percentage at the end of the trip. If people are not aware of this procedure then they are tipping twice. |

I am a Canadian and once again I feel I have to defend this only because I never considered myself a cheap tipper. I can not say what goes on in a cruise ship, but if it makes you feel better to come on the board and make accusation towards us Canadians once again, then all the power to you Nodic. AKA Zero

Steamer have you ever gone over the boarder and seen all the dump trucks in a line up at customs. This is a way to smuggle something over the boarder. They just waved them through it smells so bad.
