Not very often. As far as operator error. I don't necessarily buy that.  In many cases the spot in question is not visible till after cleaning.

PEE will if you get overly aggressive....or the customer has bad air flow and it takes the carpet to long to dry...

I don't think a glide will help against poor air flow...or does it

 Willy

a glide will decrease dry times so I think it will help

as long as it's a green or Super glide

The glide on the end of the wand cannot have any affect on the air in a room you are cleaning. A/C windows open etc will affect that.  But I know the glide has been a big help to us, and I have ot thank Lisa and SGK for that.

if the room os all locked up with no air flow... I think the effects of the glide may be lost???

lost glides...move this to the glide section

No matter which way you look at it, wicking is a result of incomplete soil removal.

Lee not everyone has one of your little cameras to xray the carpet for pre existing stains on the backing which don't appear till aggravated by cleaning????????

Don't get angry now Doug.

Wicking can be prevented by using one of the best (and forgotten about) products available....Absorb-a-Spill.

Why is this not standard on every truck??

Lee: Maybe wicking in the GTA is visible before you are finisned cleaning?? Maybe we are not on the same wave length.  I am referring to a spot that appears after cleaning that was not visible before cleaning not a spot that came back that was visible prior to cleaning.  Make sense??
