If anyone is really interested then the new DFC 23 works exceptionally well. It is made only from food ingredients, you can wash your hands with this material and it is less than 1/2 the price of hydrofluoric acid. I think it is only about $5.25 for a 1 ltre bottle. No harsh chemicals, no need to worry about spilling it anywhere

Listen.... just don't carry it.... some times basic soap or some pog will take out rust with a little nikey treatment... I hate rust remover... could come back to haunt you... There was a customer ,who had her couch cleaned in the GTA... there was a little bit of rust around one of the buttons on the arm...the tech used rust remover to get it out... the customer was all happy... 2 months later he daughter to a nap on the couch.... sweat from cheek reacted with rust remover... ate a hole in the girls face... |

If you get Rust Remover on your skin and you do not know it............you usually will find that you are itchy and it is iritating.........be aware of how you feel. To neutralize right away..........wash your skin with soap and water......not just water be sure to use plenty of soap. If you understand and respect this product.......there should be no problem.

ACtually, "IF" you get it on you...YOu wont feel it right away. That's because it acts kind of like a Pain suppresant (You wont know until it's too late)....So be sure to wear gloves if you do use it. Usually I try the Rust remover from DSC or "Rust assasin" from Vacaway. I only bring out the Hydroflouric acid for hardcore stuff. Ive been using Hydroflouric acid for years and NEVER have I EVER gotten a drop on me. That's because I know how dangerous it is...SO, RESPECT your chems!! Lastly, I cant stress enough about knowing about ALL of the chems that you carry on the truck. |

Hydroflouric acid isn't no joke. Be really careful if you get it on your skin it will soak right down to the bone and from what I understand it's painful as (*&@#(&. Seek immediate medical attention.

Yep. Thats why evryone that uses it should be of extreme caution. But, other than that.....its the BEST for rust. Dissappears right before your eyes.
