Dear Ladies & Gentlemen;

This October begins our 30th year in business, a pretty big accomplishment in anybodys book.

During the past years , we have met an awful lot of very good and decent people who have radiated honor and respect. Individuals with great families, and now, much older kids (!) who have built very good businesses mostly right from scratch. And, I have also had the priviledge of speaking with many our great friends across the pond and around the World. They all are terrific people, many of whom I intent to shake hands with very, very soon. They have truly been our "Silent Partners" as well !

I feel very privilage to have been a small part of their success because they have all become our dear friends, and more importantly, a hugh part of our own success here. In our 29 years I will bet that we have touched on some 9,000 people/customers. Not bad for a vision that started so many years ago.

Yes, there were always a few stumbling blocks along the way as anyone who has ever been in the manufacturing business could ever imagine. However, for the most part, it has been fun, interesting, and educational.

I am very proud of our accomplishments to. The innovations and designs, including bringing cfm/air-flow accomplishments to the forefront, that have now become universal and somehow (the history & development of)lost in the shuffle because of our older operators retiring and new, younger operators coming on board. But I guess this generation would label this: "progress" even though the history has been left somewhere in time, in the dust.

I have also learned along the way that as hard as you might try with your efforts, you will not please everyone all the time. Some will thank you sincerely,and a few will never be fimilar with the meaning of the word. Some will appreciate your offer of value, and others will never recognize it. Even the Great Wayne Gretsky couldn't win them all.

But, Ladies & Gentlemen, never give up. Because there is no reward or trophy given for trying your very, very best; only the terrific personal satisfaction in life when it comes time to lock the door behind you.

Anyways, I would like to sincerely THANK all of you for your deep friendship and support. And, keep those e-mails and testimonials coming to. Always enjoy the reading!

The Staff of Cross-American Corp.,
& Ed Valentine, your Yankee friend

Congradulations on your anniversary, 30 years in this business is a wonderful accomplishment, your posts are always intelligent and helpful,

I recently was rushing into an apartment building and an older gentleman moved out of my way and he said "Sorry, I will get out of your way", I replied "Your not in my way, you helped to pave the way"

As have you

It`s not how far you fall...it`s how high you bounce back up...

Congrats on this important milestone in your business life Ed. I read somewhere that only 1/2 of 1% of all the business that get started make it to this milestone of longagivity. The fact that you have means that you are doing alot of things right.

You may not be one in a million in these odds, but you can truly know that you are at least one in 200 that stands apart from the crowd.

I wish you many more years of success!
