Hi Magnum, To answer your first question is heat a necessity, the answer is absolutely. To answer your second question a ninja is a good machine. You should call Ted at Kleen Kuip he will definately help you in making the right decision in portables.

Hi everyone. Well I,m fairly new to this, yes I,ve cleaned carpets before with various types of borrowed or rented portables but I would,nt for one minute think I knew what I was talking about. Here are my questions. I have my own pre purchase home inspection business which I started myself and it is doing not too bad but does have it,s slow periods. I get a few requests about getting the carpets cleaned before clients move in. I feel I,m missing the boat here and should have the equipment to do this and have extra income. I have researched portables and could use advice on a good machine to suit my needs ( residential ) some commercial. Is heat a necessity ?? A good used one would be nice to find if anyone knows of any I,m leaning towards a Ninja or similar. Thanks this site is a gem to me I,m glad I found it. All advice is appreciated. Ken
