The reason for such a heavy mixture is to prevents many incidents from happening. The boost all is and additive cleaner to make the fabric brighter and look cleaner, but since boost all also raises the ph lvl, you need to use buff all to neutralize that. Also buff all is great to help reduce the chances of browning from occuring. Its just a safe way to clean upholstery and customers will be impressed. LOL just go to a class and learn the science instead of wet and jet.

If there is a lot of colors in the fabric then yes I will still use dye loc on it. Even with synthetics, colors can still crock or bleed. Better to be safe than sorry. It takes 2 minutes to do it, and when you wipe the dye loc, you will get your first visual on just how dirty your sofa is, and if the customer is watching, he/she will be impressed.
