Well I have been using a portable for about 10 months now, and I always ask my customers what type of system was used in their home the last time it was cleaned, and most of the time it was by a truck mount, but they also said I did a far better job and I would get their business next time needed. I believe it's all in the person doing the job. I also look at all my jobs as a challenge to see how clean I can get it without over wetting. |

Portables will always be in Toronto as long as we have (secure) office buildings over 20 stories high.

But what about those people who can't afford to get a BIG BAD TM, because they are not able to afford it yet, I have had a portable for 6 months now and yeah its a pain compared to the convience and speed of a TM but its all I can afford right now, because if I get a TM than I am going to have to invest in a heavy duty van aswell, why not keep doing what I'm doing now and building my customer base and talking to those customers that TM guys can't (hotels, apartments, 2 and 3 story office building) and save my money thennnnnn upgrade to the BIG BAD WOLF and blow the house down......I think the portable is a good initial CC startoff just as long as you don't sit on it. CLEAN....SAVE......CLEAN.......SAVE........BUY A TRUCKMOUNT!!!! You gotta start somewhere, right? |
