That is what we need to see -- a TM in a porno. Perhaps called Debbie Does Carpet Cleaners.

Are you in a high paying business or are you just a self employed low paid grunt who thinks this business provides dignity?

I don't need to be shot to know it might hurt.
Your argument has fallen and deaf ears on this thread. Keep your TM, use it, enjoy it...and pay for it. |

Duck like I say not being rude but doesn't matter what I or any one for that matter can say to you to convince you that a TM is better, or as others say a luxury. I was only trying to convince you do to that fact it is a better tool, and as others say you will like cleaning carpet better. I guess maybe a TM is like love you have to experience it to know what it is about.

"it doesn't take rocket science to clean carpet"
No, but it does take chemistry practioners Or some layman renting a rug doctor should do just as well Or a crewman with Stanley Steemer can match the performance of any TM or porty Guess we should all just go home, clean our own carpets and land a 9-5. We're done. See you in the elevator on the way up to the office I guess. All that money wasted on hardware when all we needed was a $20 rental unit and some neighborhood kid to run it for $2/hour, right after he mows the lawn. How much do we get for scrap metal? |

Your body is your most important piece of equipment. Your cleaning equipment should help you stay in the industry by making your job easier on your knees, shoulders and back. Carrying around 4', 125lbs portys and 5 gallon buckets of water will wear anyone out.

I think the best reason to own a TM for cleaning, is that it makes your life easier. I used a porty for a long time and I hated my job. Those things are a pain in the a$$. The cords the breakers, the stairs, the dumping, filling, F those things. A TM is a luxury item for those that are willing to invest in them, some people will some people wont. I am a whole lot happier at then end of a day of cleaning with a TM than a porty.

Duck I can see you are a guy that is set in his ways. Nothing wrong with that to each his own. I on the other hand am alway open to new ideas. I would ditch the TM in a heartbeat if there was something better that comes along. Also by the way there is not technician in TACT this is a given, and it doesn't take rocket science to clean carpet. What part of the country do you live, where there are not TM's working? How do they stay in business? Out here I see on average of 4 of my competitors daily. Why lower you prices do you see the price of gas, milk, egg's, going down. Unless you are new to the business where you are trying to undercut you completion. I have no problem getting my prices, just have to be a good sales person is all.
