i found a good deal on a spitfire 4.0 in a van? is this spitfire a good machine? any input would be great!!

Most of what I know about it has not been good. Reliability problems. However if a guy was mechanical enough to deal with those issues and could buy the unit at a low enough price I think it might be a good deal for some.

Well, did you get it? I have a 3.2 spitfire. Runs great.
Had a few starting issues but like Ken said.
