Just wonder how (much) we would consider it "The Best" in regards to cleaning a carpet? (Remember, we are not cleaning city sewers with our carpet cleaning equipment)

Good thread, and good point made. I also sometimes shake my head in amazement.

Good Fortune to all;

That's Mike Pailliotet's Vortex. He lives in the Santa Cruz area. Believe me, his jobs average WAY more than $100-200. He is hosting Winterfest this year. Tell you what, I get hot just thinkin' about playing with that machine! I've got a Vortex on my wish list...wanna cosign for me? lol.

I'd also like one of Padman's machines, a Cimex, a weighted stone polisher, a GLS...and the income to buy them all.

Oh well...too bad I'm just another BDCC.

Take care,

Lisa

if running multi wands it would be great I guess

and you have the Tim Taylor affect

for one guy it's defineately overkill

but better too much than not enough I guess, the only thing I don't like about the vortex is it doesn't look like there's that much room in them with that big lobster pot in the back but I've never seen one in person.

they would certainly draw attention, but I bet it couldn't outclean one of my tm's with me behind the wand.

In the GTA that truck would be hell for parking........ what would happen in the winter ??? frozen Vortex???

But I believe with that size of a truck it would be easy to get top dollar... The truck sells itself

you guys have to stop looking at cleaning as a $dollar$ amount and start looking at cleaning as an experience....

with that good looking monster infront of your customers house thats one hell of an experience... something they would be willing to pay for

I think there is one of the units in the GTA?  I think it would be great to own one of these units.  But to run to potential you need a crew.  You need to work this unit to potential 3 wands, so.  Three techs, 3 helpers unless you want to be continually stopping and moving hose.  Now what if you have  two good size jobs and one lagre truck?  What if that large truck is giving you problems?  I still think two smaller units with dual wand capabilites is a better deal for practical purposes.  I know I wouldn't be able to get into alot places here.  I think my 405's are an overkill for alot of my calls.Guitar

You got that right Doug... how many times would you ever really need that big box truck... it's really just for show...

2 protables could do the same thing...The should just fill that truck with portables...
