What is the best Cleaning Chems?

I am tempted to use Tide.. it looks like it actually works but then I have other people saying that it leaves brown tracks? Why would it do that anyways?

I need a great Pre Spray suggestion
What is the best shampoo/solution

Best Deoderant
Best carpet Protectant?

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks

Tide is great for the laundry.  You run an extractor, don't think of it as a washing machine.  The rotovac wand is not an agitator.

Stop the BS man, Tide's not for carpet fibers.
Try it on a nylon nasty that's been walked on for 2 - 5yrs
and you will quickly change your mind.
