Ted: I know what would work even better than cookies and coffee to get people into the store. Get a bunch of $10 bills from the bank. Cut them in half. Mail one half to all those you want in your store. Tell them if they come down and purchase $50 or more of chemical product within 30 days, the other half is theirs. I have seen people drive 10 miles to cash in a $2 coupon. $10 of real money should do the trick just fine. This is only a maximum of 20% or less you give away on product that carries a higher margin than other areas of your operation, so it should be a winning promo for you.

Kenny, that is actually a smart idea, the only setback is that if you sent me half of a ten, iI would take it to the bank and they would give me 5 bucks for it. The other setback is that Ted would have the RCMP standing in front of his doorway dangling their cuffs. You should know it's against the law to destroy money, you can steal it for less of a penality that to destroying it.

Hell most of the cleaners in the GTA probably don't see many ten dollar bills considering what they work for.Guitar

In that case, mail KK bucks to the customer worth $10 towards a chemical product purchase of the same value. This is actually a better idea, cause if the customer does not show up, you are not out any money! I would still make your KK bucks up to resemble a Ten dollar bill as close as the law will allow however just to get the point across that they are losing real money if they dont respond. At least you can send the whole note this way. I used this idea to build my repeat customer base up under Aqua-jet Carpet cleaning by the way. Make sure each KK buck has an expiry date on it so that you control how fast they use them.

Good point Ken, Nice idea, I like it, soon Steamer will be sending out fake money all over the GTA, and scooping up the real stuff after the job gets done.

I really like that idea, I hope Ted gets to read these posts.
