Prochem also has a blood remover....I don't know what it's called because the label has worn off it's been in my truck so long....

You could also try putting lots of ice cubes on the stained area...get it real cold...then rub out with a cloth....what ever you use COLD WATER is the best, don't steam it out...alittle WD might work, do me a favor and hide the can...don't let the customer see that....lol

remember cold cold cold

Ted has a product called Blood Away. It's a good product, you could basically kill someone    and maybe get away with it.

Funny thing about rust remover is that when nothing else works on a stain and as a last resort, sometimes rust works.  Of course that is what I call throwing cation to the wind.

Like Mr. Steamer said Greg, how did you make out

I have to agree with replacing that part of the carpet. If there is that much blood in a small area it's doubtfull your gonna get it all out no matter what you do. And on the off chance that you do get it all out it will take you FOREVER to do it. It's a rental andn he doesn't care if there is still some blood in the carpet. What kind of person rents property to someone with blood in the carpet. It's crazy and so is he it sounds like. Tell him to replace the carpet already.

Might I throw in some advice?  Flush with cold water, extract with water claw, repeat.  This will take out all of the "matter" in the carpet and pad.  As for the stain, protein spotter will sometimes work, but I like to use Urine rescue by Prochem.  Just a little trick I learned by accident.  Peroxide versus blood=success.  Try it before you knock it.

To remove the Blood stains, you can use seltzer water (club soda) or really cold water also, but the trick is to dunk the blood spot into the liquid, and not to rub or scrub it out (yet). Le the stain sit in the water/seltzer for 5 or so minutes, then rub the stain with the “clean” fabric of the same garment. Make sure, you are trying this within few minutes of the stain happen on your cloths or carpets.

First you fill the bathtub with several cases of club soda Canada Dry preferable as the noname products may not give you the same results. Then carefully with the aid if a very sharp knife cut out the effected area and dunk in the tub till ?? Till the dunkin process give you the results you want??

Great suggestions on how to clean it up. If it is really tough stain or large amount you could always call the professionals that do Crime Scene Clean Ups. We do this in the Phoenix AZ Area along with water damage, smoke and fire damage restorations.
