What are some of the best chemicals you found to work the best for removing red stains?

What does the red come from? Red food dye is one source but it is not the only source. Wine and cheap wine get their red stains from two different sources. Please be a bit more specific and we can be of some help. If we tell you how to get one type out and it turns out to be another type you might be setting the stain and then blame us.
