If you have ever owned a Steam Valet Stream Brush it will date you. In the seventies and early eighties a gentleman by the name of Sid Collier (the Godfather of Steam Cleaning) invented these units to marry up to his Mark IV, V portable steam cleaners.

If you did not own one you were considered a nobody within the industry. Now listen to this they sold for $8000.00 back then. Today when people approach me to buy them I tell them to go down to the waterfront and sell it to a sailor for a boat anchor. Not that they still don't do a superb job but cleaners today want lighter, faster and cheaper equipment.

Hats of to Sid Collier of Cleancare International in Toronto who helped many get of to a profitable start. Cleancare was later sold to G.H. Woods then to Avmor in Montreal and now to General Floor Machines in the state of NJ.

Sorry for the long story Steaminpile but it had to be said.

The jets you will require if the unit is 20 inches will be 7x8002 but if 17 inches will be 6x8002. The larger of the two should only be used with truckmount suction or you will over-wet.

Now if I can get doug to inhale enough Hide and get him into thinking he is back in time I just may be able to sell him my last Stream Brush.

Doug it's an antique by now and worth a lot of money. What an investment.

does it work any good??

very slow??

I know it's a tank but seems like it would clean great with lots of agitation.

I'm itching to try it out on a commercial carpet.

this one looks older than the one you have for sale

it's all chrome and it's gotta be 100 lbs.

I had a Mark V for the longest time. Ended up cracking a ceramic tile in a 10K sq ft house in Aurora, and then the pump went nuts. Had to put her to rest.
