I use a collection agency who make sure the debt is registered with Equifax. Also they are very very good at collecting the money. My most recent on was for $800.00 that was owed to me for 7 months. Right now I have one for $250.00 that is 5 months old and pissing me off so I'm sending it to collection.

You can have a default judgement against someone and then have a debtor's examination by the court. If they fail to appear to the court appearance they can be held in contempt.
