I just got finished cleaning a new customer (referal from one of my clients)...God Bless her, I know she was only trying to help, but I so hate it when customers try to pre-move the furniture...every time, they do, they just cause me so much more work...she was one of those who think we have to move all the furniture completely out of the room and then move it back and repeat for each room...it was bad enough that I had to clean three rooms on three levels of the house...2 flights of stairs to boot...I hate stairs, but what are ya gonna do?...so, I just smiled and struggled through the job and she, of course, was pleased with the job (pausing to pat myself on the back)...then as she was making out the check, she said "I really don't see the need in moving all of the furniture...we don't ever walkin those spots that the furniture covers anyway"...I just smiled and said that we don't have to...all the time thinking why couldn't you have said that before I got started...oh well...I'll have her trained by the next time I clean for her...I'll just tell her on the phone to leave all the furniture moving to me...and then point out all the rake marks still left in those spots and reminder that those areas need not be cleaned this time...]]> Fri, 13 May 2005 19:37:49 +0000 https://www.kleenkuip.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=1506&PID=30827&title=speaking-of-a-customer-from-hell#30827
