It sounds like you left the carpet in too high of a PH state. I would try to go back and extract with an acid rinse. I think that will work for you. When using any high PH prespray it is important to counteract the PH during the extraction phase. Hope this helps.

    Author: papagator
Subject: 2921
Posted: 22/September/2006 at 10:04am

Hey everyone...need some help regarding Enzall. I work in a 125 bed Long Term Care facility with approx. 100,000 sq. ft. of powerbond carpet. I recently extracted all the corridors in the building using Enzall as my prespray. Coffee was the biggest culprit stain wise...my question is... why did everywhere I pre-treated, leave a brownish "stain" when the carpet dried?? I mixed according to label, let dwell 10-15 mins. before extracting. It's almost like it broke down the coffee, but then the extraction process failed to pick it up. Any help from this forum is greatly appreciated!!!
