doug right now that there are little tieeny tiny houses up under and side and around your unit that are just getting dried out and crispy in little teeny tiny spaces where hands can't get to...with a sh*t load of wiring thats getting dry rott...
 
there is nothing wrong with a slide-in...if you stock and can fix all the crap that can and eventually will go wrong with them...
 
I'm sorry most designs are piss poor 405 being one of them...
 
the simpler the better
 
shaft
pump
blower
and on/off switch
easy as pie
 
easy to fix
