I have not heard of the Kill Odor Plus as an Encap but Chemspec has been making an Encap product for years called Formula 161 Soil Retardant Carpet Shampoo.
 
The term ENCAP is a spin on some older products that have been Encapping for years.

Now they (http://www.chemspecworld.com/default.asp) CLAIM you can encap with Kill Odor Plus. Has anybody tried this through their Cimex or pad machine?
