It changes because some hoses have a greater leakage rate than others. on a water lift gauge the lift does not drop going from 25' to 50' hose.

water recovery may drop but lift does not with my gauge.

lift changes from hose to hose of same length this I know for sure as I have done many tests.

You must have had an air leak in the 25 ft section you were using. The loss rate per ft is an established physics fact. I know it does not make sense but I also know what I am recovering so to me the water lift equation is not true and this is a constant recovery occurance not just 1 or 2 times as a test. It could have something to do with not measuring right. 25 ft of hose will ALWAYS have stronger vacuum than the same hose that is 50 ft long.
