The loss rate per ft is an established physics fact. It does not vary unless you change something else about the airflow you are measuring.]]>

I switched to 50 ft hose years ago and it works for me go figure. ]]>

Lift falls off at the rate of 1/4" WL per ft, so the extra 25 will drop the lift by 6"WC.That will decrease the recovered amount of water from the carpet, not increase it.]]>
