It's always about Kenny.

 

I watched a show by Nova on the Discovery Channel last week. It was about apes. It seems that scientists have been able to teach apes to count.  They taught an ape to count from 1 to 7 using numbered cards. The ape could arrange the numbers in order every time. Then they taught the ape that if it was given 2 numbers it could pick the lowest number and it would receive the most candy, and another ape would get the least if the ape picked the highest number.  However, when presented with actual candy, the ape couldn't stop itself from reaching for the bowl with the most candy, even though it knew that if it reached for the bowl it would be given to the other ape.  I was thinking about Kenny the whole time. He can't help himself, even thought it hurts his reputation. Ted could explain it to him, but Kenny would still continue to damage himself.
