    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.kleenkuip.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=2436">steamywonder</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 6137<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 17/September/2009 at 12:13am<br /><br /><FONT size=3>Hi all,<DIV></DIV>I need some feedback regarding frieze carpets which are popular around here lately and some call "the new shag."&nbsp; I've cleaned hundreds of these and usually find they have absorbed more stains than normal and are especially hard to clean, and are also harder to dry and even vacuum.&nbsp; No one seems to discuss which styles and fibers are the best-cleaning in our industry so the consumers can get the real inside-scoop on what's practical to buy.&nbsp; My friend has installed lots of thick friezes in rentals which are getting completely neglected/abused and after two years or so, are often too far gone to restore.&nbsp; Even cheap apt./grade nylon plushes would be more practical.&nbsp; What do you all think? </FONT>]]>
