Today I had a move out in a apt complex.... got there at 3pm... nobody there door locked... called up the contact... Her mother went to managers office for the key...

He says their cc'er recommended replacement... That would cost the x tennant 2000 big one....

I said I can get it clean for the next renter's and you might want to consider a NEW cc'er...  ME....He had to lock up at 4....

so i went 90miles for nothing....

I've seen worse and they came out very nice.....

Mr. Steamer here the SEARS 5 room special is usually used up in the master bedroom.

1 The room is usually over 200 sq. ft. counts as two rooms

2 Closets count as a room either a walkin or double counts as 2 rooms

3 ensuit counts as 1 room

There you have it $149 for the master bedroom?

The Bay's ad here is even  worse than that. But people buy?

BAIT & SWITCH? Who reads past the Bait Line NO ONE????

I guess it is the old look before you leap?

Maybe not in the GTA Steamer. But there is a whole other world outside the GTA?

But you can see that only when you leave the GTA, Doug. Some people there never leave it, ever eh? They are born there, stay all their lives there, and die there.

I think Doug is closer to the truth than Steamer, what constitues a room with these people is closer to Doug's post than people understand until they arrive at the site and give the customer their actual price, most people are scared to object so they let them do the job, those who object usually watch the carpet cleaning truck driving away without doing the job, and than they get on the phone and want us to come right over and bail them out because they have moved furniture etc. Because these people do National advertising the pricing structures are constant accross the board.

What do you do when they call you?

I usually agree with you Steamer but not this time.

I see a dramatic difference in pricing and pricing expectations once you cross the border from Mississauga into Oakville. Likewise in the east.

To me the GTA is really Mississauga to Pickering inclusive and no further north than Thornhill.

Just my opinion.

So is it safe to say I am outside the GTA here in Missouri?

I charge by the sf straight and simple.  It works out well for me.  Once in a while it works out really well.

Steamer has all the money. On this board he is the SEARS's official spokesman with regards to their ethics?

well I have worked in most of the GTA areas.... the prices are the same throughout...they have to charge the same....there is no bait and switch..the only thing I will say iot's easier to sell gard in oakville than it is in woobridge...
