Hi ppl , i am about to start calling around for a part time job in the scarborough area, and wanted to know who the major carpet cleaning companies are so i can phone them up to try to get some work.... so far i have service master , mainline, and sears does anybody have any others. I would like the company im dealing with to be fairly big so that its not a hassle to get paid lol. Or even if you may  know small reputable (reputation being good) companies that would be great.

I don't know your area at all, but I do know that most "big" companies are just franchised. That means a big name with little guy issues. Just interview well, and it shouldn't be a problem. By that, I mean that they aren't just interviewing you; you're interviewing them. Be open and professional about your concerns and expectations, and you should be able to separate the good from the bad.

What part do you want to learn?

Servicemaster= systems and marketing
Sears=upsell, upsell, upsell
Mainline=operations systems extraordinaire

Now you want to learn how to clean?
