Hi everyone!  I'm new to the carpet cleaning business and I'm just getting my equipment together and I was hoping someone could answer a question about my truckmount.  I'm trying to find a fuel pump that will share the tank with my van.  What are these called and where do you get one?

Thanks!
Rick

Is your van fuel injected? There are new laws regarding the fuel hookups on most vans. You may need to contact a dealer to get a fuel pump kit to install one that is safe by todays standards?

Doug, I have a 99 chevy astro and it is fuel injected.  Isnt there some kind of pump that you could just insert into the vans tank and use it for the truckmount?  It sounds safe.  What do you use?

Thanks!

In my older gm's they used to drill the filler tube insert a steel line than a external electric fuel pump. What type of unit do you have? I think it will still be far cheaper to just buy the fuel kit and speak to you distributor and even have them do it. You don't want constant fuel problems.
