I know very little about the portable cleaners and I have a question regarding the difference the psi has on cleaning the carpets. Isn't it just the pressure of water sprayed into the carpet?
Also I was told by a sales person that heat doesn't make a difference.

forget the portable cleaners and buy a truckmount

Time, Agitation, Chemical Temperature, TACT!

Remove one of these and you have to make up for it with the others to achieve proper cleaning.
