I've been looking at this board for a few months now and love the information that some of the members have provided. I decided to today to join. I am the owner/operator of Steam Pro Carpet Cleaning in New York. I've been cleaning carpets for a little over seven years. With all of your help and knowledge I hope to grow my business exponentially in the coming year. Hey, I noticed you guys are in NYC. I was wondering what types of equipment you guys carry for doing all those apartments. I used to live there and many of those places would be impossible with a truckmount and a real hassel to get a portable to, I'm speaking of Manhattan of course. Not to mention the parking and traffic issues. Do you have a driver just drop the cleaner off with the equipment or do u hope for a parking space near by? Just curious.

I run a ninja portable. It's very common to have to park 2-3 blocks away from a customer's home. It can be a be frustrating. Outside of manhattan can be just as bad in the other boroughs.
