    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.kleenkuip.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=63">PadMan</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 131<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 18/March/2004 at 10:06am<br /><br /><P>*always try to be right on time</P><P>YES</P><P>*a uniform is nice, but if you don't have one...blue work clothes</P><P>UNIFORM</P><P>*smile</P><P>*let the customer show you the whole area to be cleaned, let them pinpoint all the stains...ask them what they want to have moved....insist that they move their own breakables</P><P>ABSOLUTELY</P><P>*pre-spray always always always ...using a mild(yes mild) soap nothing to radical on the pH scale ...soap in your fresh water tank is a NO NO</P><P>PRESPRAY USING A BIOBASED SAFE CLEANER</P><P>*don't just hold the trigger all the time...it's never good to over wet.....if the carpet is soaking wet when your done ...your in for trouble</P><P>LIGHT MIST IS ALL THAT IS REQUIRED</P><P>*if you move something pad or block it, no one wants metal or wood rust on their carpet..get behind the doors...thats the first place they'll check</P><P>NEVER NEED TO BLOCK AND PAD, IF YOU NEED TOO THE CARPET MUST BE TOO WET</P><P>* always carry a spot bottle and a clean rag right on your person, to hit those stubborn spots</P><P>NO SPOTTER NEEDED, PRESPRAY AND OP AGITATION ARE MORE THAN ENOUGH</P><P>* have 4-6 drop cloths.....a few drop cloths through the house will make you look very prefessional....it makes the job</P><P>HUH? DROP CLOTHS MAKE YOU LOOK LIKE A PAINTER</P><P>* don't rush...push that wand at an even pace</P><P>MORE THE OP SLOWLY, YES</P><P>*booties are nice but dangerous...have a good clean extra pair of shoes...let the customer see you changing your shoes at the door...they be impressed</P><P>FAIRIES WEAR BOOTS</P><P>*hit that door mat on the way out..they just eat that up</P><P>YES</P><P>overwetting is the biggest problem in carpet cleaning with steam or hwe</P><P>YES IT IS, SO OP AND NEVER EVEN HAVE THAT WORRY</P><P>furniture is a little different...more things to watch for...ie color, fabric, buttons, wood&nbsp;framing.....just remember what ever your cleaning just don't over wet..</P><P>NEVER OVERWET, GREAT ADVICE</P><P><IMG src="https://www.kleenkuip.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0"></P>]]>
