It's always best to give it back. The people might be testing you to see what type of business you are runningn and if they can ntrust you. I always give back any money that is found or lay it on a table somewhere.  Removed a ceiling on a flood job once and found 5950 $ in a brown bag.

Told client about it. She had no clue about it.Never left the room after that.I'm a big beliver in what goes around comes around.
