No software user out there??

What are you using , What things would you like a excellant software
program to do??

Can't help you if you don't tell me what your likes and dislikes are in

How many of you out there use a specialized software program to run
your business?

Are all of you using computers to keep track of your businesses?

What Things would be a "MUST HAVE" if you were to purchase a new
software program ???

Very curious to hear your opinions and experiences!!!

If a program took care of a majority of your marketing, tracking,
reminding, invoicing, cash flow management ( and would clean a few
flights of steps for you once in awhile )lol what would you feel is a fair
market price. I see prices from 800.00 to 2500.00 on the web??? any
feelings on this? I know we all want the best for the least but, give me
some idea what value you put on a program that can make you more
efficient, more organized, and more profitable.

Adwa, Hi, the beta version can currently be downloaded at
www.castlebrooksoftware.com. Tell your friends we are looking for
people to give it a good work out and report back to us. It is a Beta
version so some of the small niceites that will be there later are not on
the program now, like a tutorial etc. It has a great help menu , but for
the first beta testers we may have to communicate ONCE to get you up
and running.

I will do the same with our software as I did when I broke into the
cleaning business 23 years ago. I tell the customer " If you are satisfied
with the company you are using now , I respect loyalty,keep using
them..... But if at any time you feel that the product or service you are
receiving fails you we would appreciate you giving us a try. We hope to be
the standard in the next five years. but that takes a lot of communicating
and listening to a customers needs, and we are up to that challange.

Remember what you will download " is not a completed version but a "
Beta test " version . It is not for everyone , but for those who are willing to
be challanged. giving the program a try even at this stage can by
extremely helpful . Anyone downloading the software that wishes to be
considered for beta testing can email me and I will let them know how the
Beta concept works.

I have been using different versions of ChaChing for 6 years now, it has served us very well, I do not understand it writing over files unless you had certain access files it might have overwritten.

My wife Patty is so bad at computers that when she touches the mouse it either reboots or shutsdown the computer and she has mastered it very well...LOL

Padman, I ordered a sample version of ChaChing about 2 weeks ago,
last thursday my partner and I tried to evaluate it so we could make a
comparison. We too need to know what's out there and make sure our
product is worth what we will be charging.

anyway, we tried opening the software they sent us , it replaced one of
our system files upon installing and caused some corruption to some
files, and rendered some programs inoperative. But we did get those
things resolved.we just didn't get enough time to try it again to " give it
the benefit of the doubt"

To be fair to the developer we will try again to use it and evaluate it as
fairly as we can ( being we have our own bias).

Our goal is "not" to have every possible feature on our software, just the
features that we can provide in an uncomplicated and easy to use manner
and the ones we are told are most useful. If you try to be everything to
everyone , you end up with a complex and complicated program and we
will not do that!.

Our program keeps track of all invoices and Billing, but does not go into
the expense side of the picture. We leave that for the quickens and
Quickbooks etc. We have a buildt in marketing area that has Thank you
post cards or letters, all different kinds of seasonal reminders, regular
reminders. We have a Coupon Creater. and the nice thing is if you get
involved in the Beta testing your ideas may become a part of the program
you end up purchasing.

How does it compare to ChaChing?

ChaChing does ALL of our cleaning business records plus thank you cards and marketing. All for $800.00
