Harvey:  Wtih regards to the deductible I find it easier to allow the insured to work.  There is always something like some nic naks of other personal items that you can have them look after and pay them and get the same results regarding satisfaction.  To just give then a rebate.  I think you would be asking for trouble especially if the claim starts to go sour with regards to a problem regarding the adjuster or scope of work who knows.  But the last thing you need is an adjuster preceiveing you are padding the bill to include some of the deductible weather you are or not.  The deductible is a fact of life you are not a windshield man who can hide these things.  Bodyshops have to collect but they get to keep the car till it is paid.   Sorry Doug I may not have worded that right.
