Around here, there's only a couple of guys I know with employees. Both on hourly rates.

Multiple van operations are usually either a franchise, or worked bysubcontractors who own thier own van, gear, chem, and split profitswith the head office. $25 bucks per room, with a 3 room minimum. They don't move anything, they don't vacuum, they don't rake thecarpet... heck, I don't even think they clean the carpet at that price!

One company approached me and offered me 30% of every job.
Another offered me 50%

You could tell by the eyepatches and bottle 'o rum what they really were.
