Picked up a 175 rpm rotary at a yard sale for $48. Probably older thanJesus but it actually works. Think it's a 16". It's called a "multiclean' floor and carpet machine.

Question is what is it good for? I already have low moisture system forcarpts, thought perhaps this might be suitable for agitating the prespray and/or cleaning concrete/tile/and or hardwood?  Or is 175rpm too slow for that?

Machine appears to have some sort of wire brushes installed, then thereis a steel wool pad 'laid' over them. The guy I bought it from saidhe  just thows a cleaning or buffing pad against the steel woolpad for a friction fit. Different pads for stripping, polishing, etc.Should I look for a different type of brush, or is there another way ofmounting the pad?

Even if it turns out the machine is too antiquated for use in the fieldI'll probably screw around with it at home. Any suggestions on theabove?
