Bid it and shut up<br>2. Decline to bid<br>3.     <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.kleenkuip.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=601">duckcountry</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 268<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 17/November/2009 at 2:49am<br /><br />The reason for a rinse is to restore the ph of the carpet and that will in simple terms keep the carpet cleaner longer.&nbsp; Some guys put extractor detergent in their water when prespraying is the recommended procedure for applying cleaning chemicals.&nbsp; Vacuum, Prespray, Agitate, Dwell, Rinse, Groom.&nbsp; Let me know when the IICRC changes their recommended steps and after I examine the change if I find it an improvement I will use it.]]>

It depends on your timing, actions, process and most of all morals and ethics.<br><br>Are you call-backs asking you to come and re-clean a lousy job or are they call-backs a year or so later to come back? You know who you are.<br><br>If you are still confused got to carpet cleaning school and learn the basics or a refresher course. The fact that this post on residues has received so few comments tells me 'who cares'?<br><br>]]>

I use clean water as a rinse form the tank.&nbsp; If I do use a rinse...I use CTI "Lastl Step". Going to sound super noobish asking this. Normally I run my chemical in my portable-I never do any rinsing with regular clean water. Do some people just prespray all of their chem down and just do a rinse with clean water in their portable? Which way would work better-at this point I don't pre-spray excepting stains/rough areas.]]>

Im not going in to details, but that situation can be made very profitable in a larger market. We&nbsp;clean our carpets as best we can, that practice can be profitable.
