We use a chemical called RED 1 forgot who its made by but my boss who has 15+ years of experience tought me how to get up pretty much any red stain....  Put the chemical on the stain get a wet rag heat up a clothing iron and place it over the wet rag for about 15-30 seconds depending on the carpet and how bad the stain is do it a few times and usually will come out.  However it will stink like burnt carpet but if you don't leave it long enough to actually singe the carpet you will be fine.  It sometimes works with ink also.  The iron method i just described works perfectly for wax also.  Im sure you guys already knew this though.  For gum we use Citrus Gel and a pocket knife (don't cut the carpet just hold the blade straight up and down and go back and forth like a scraper) i think its made by prochem but im not sure..

I tell them upfront there is a 45.00 minimum charge for red dye removal ( small spot ) and we have experienced about a 75% chance of complete removal . it may lighten and still have some pink tone left. but we do charge regardless for our efforts, so it is up to you if you would like me to continue on that basis.

If these say yes, they have been informed,

UPFRONT Honesty is always best .

To advise before is to educate the customer, explaining afterwards is called excuses.

I had my first Iron/red pink stain.That takes forever.
