I agree that the sniper is really great, I bought the mytee speedster first and then tried a couple of the power flites but I would not recommend them( the power flites) to anyone and finally on the third try american sanitary got me the sandia sniper 3-500 and it is awesome. I would recommnd this machine to anyone who is looking to buy a portable or upgrade their current portable it is well worth the price. The only drawback to the sniper is they have put the psi control valve in front of the rinse door, unlike mytee who puts it at the bottom of their machines, this makes it hard to fill the rinse tank by yourself. I use a bungee cord to hold the rinse door up while i am filling it.

I've got the Sandia Sniper tile and grout machine, and I love it. It's as solid as a rock. There's nothing on the market that's that solid. I'd like to put the vacuums in parallel, however. I'd prefer high cfm to do both grout and carpet.

That one is kinda pricy, i have to go up stairs (sometimes 3 flights) alot and the 2 i use are pretty lightweight. I am planning on a truckmount system next year but for the price i paid for these 2 portables they are awesome. i bought the number 8 package listed under extractors and i got the sniper from a local company and it cost me around $2200.00. I am sure I am the new guy on the block, have only been cleaning carpets for a month, and actually got into the business because my regular carpet cleaning person moved out of state.
