They are generally very dense pile rugs and with the moisture having to travel upwards and at a somewhat slow rate, conditions could become rather nice for mould growth... not to mention that the surface it is put onto must be scrupulously clean or any dirt will transfer very nicely!]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.kleenkuip.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=1730">FreshAire</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 5190<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 16/July/2008 at 9:26pm<br /><br />or you can reverse the procedure John L just suggested, that's where I've had my best results, HWE extract first and then encapsulate after, two things happen this way.<br><br>First up gives you your deeper clean with HWE, then with encap you can apply with a sprayer then run over with your bonnet cleaning machine. With rug already wet, the encap juice will draw down into the rug more effectively, then the bonnet will draw <i>out </i>a lot of moisture. Encap needs 24 hrs to do it's job properly so is best left in the carpet rather than extracted and is great for preventing that "brown-out" caused by excessive moisture that not even the world's most powerful truckmount will draw out of jute!<br><br>Try it out, especially on horribly trashed carpets, jobs you thought were pull-up and replace can be&nbsp; effectively restored this way <br>]]>
