Venturi Tech,
We've always used Quickbooks in the past and were happy with it.....I like to keep a full time office person,  we would just call in credit cards to the office....in my area the PC cards are unreliable. Scheduling is for the office to do. I focus on some Sales and Service.
 
I will be back up and running in about two to three months.

Just an update, but I got an advance copy of Quickbooks Pro 2009 from Intuit. I am very happy with it. I carry my laptop with me in my truck and I print each invoice out on the job. I have a sprint mobile broadband card so my credit cards transactions go right through and I don't have to call and wait for auth codes. I have decided to go with QuickBooks Pro, for now, that is all that I will need. The 2009 version is being released on October 12th.
