The only time we would wet the back of the carpet would be during spot cleaning for things such as urine contamination.]]>

I had to gut the place when I bought it. <br>I'm just nervous after seeing what standing water does to particle board and I wasn't sure how long water stayed on the bottom of the carpet after being cleaned by one of those monster carpet machines.<br>Thank you very much for the info! If you are that concerned than find a cleaner using a low moisture system. A lot depends on the condition of the carpet if the low moisture system will&nbsp;a effective alternative to hot water extraction.]]>
