Basic rule of thumb:
 
Running a true 1200 psi pump would require an amp draw of 15 amps. One total cord.
 
That would mean that the other cord would have to run either a single 3 stage, or a dual 2 stage unit. Otherwise, any more than this would be a constant problem of blowing circuits, etc...(power draw).   Because I don't care who configures what, you can't cheat "Mother Watts"!
 
Personally for me, I would purchase a high-performance system for carpet cleaning FIRST; then use a sensible option and very effective alternative if and when the cleaning of hard floor surfaces.
 
But, that's my opinion and preference based on my experience(s) and that of many others.
