I've played with the Rotovac 360 a little bit. It doesn't feel too solid but seems to do the job. I've considered using it in a second van for handling high-rises instead of purchasing another RX-20. I would need more experience with it before endorsing/buying one though.

Comercial is a totally different picture (cimex or any op machine could be the best option). Now in your case if you are going to start with a regular wand I would consider to buy any scrubber floor tipe machine (ex: oreck orbiter 13") to agitate your prespray. You can get the same results than the powerwands but way cheaper. After that and with some cash flow in your pocket you can make an upgrade with a powertool. Good luck.-

If you are planing to run the machine with long hoses (50' or more) you need to be focus in the cfm (cube feet p/minute) so ninja warrior 2 dual 3 stage is an option (forgeret about the heat). Now if you want to use the machine just with 25' of hose so the water lift is more important, in that case you can take a look to any porty with 2/3 stage vaccums in series. One more thing to have in consideration is what kind of tools you are going to use whit your machine (rotovac, rotovac 360, drymaster or spinner for tile and grout). Any of those ones require big solution tanks. Hope this can help you with your choise. Good luck in the bussiness.

Unfortunately I have been spending the last couple of months talking with various business owners about the green cleaning, and actually have formed a great relationship with a local realty company that will reccommend all business to me once I am ready to get going. I guess what I could do is market "green" and if I have any trouble I could use an alternative chemical?? Rick you had said that the Warrior was too big for residential for you?...what did you end up going with? You guys tell me, you're the pros im just the joe here trying to obsorb some of this. Clean Craft also offers an Eclipse porty, looks like a nice machine...plus the distribution center is located about 45 minutes from me. I have been told to make sure whatever I go with make sure I get a 500psi with heat, how important is the waterlift as the warrior has 150'' compared to the Eclipse at 249'' of lift. Thanks a ton guys!

P.S. Nightrider how in the heck do you find time to do all your posting?? I want your job! Thanks for keeping things interesting!!

Looked at the Warrior myself and definetly too big for Res. for me. As for Green products out there you can take your pick. I'm using Axiom and it works fine but I've found most people don't care what you clean with other than the fact that you get their carpet clean. In other words this Green Clean hype is exactly that. People want their carpets cleaned for the least cash they can part with. Most I deal with could care less if it is Green or black. I started out thinking like you but now I've changed my tune. Now I go with whatever works best. Love Green but ???
