Grutzy.....just make sure that you don't wack yourself in the head, I was winding up a 15 foot section on my arm once ( I say once because I never did it again ) and I got the female brass quick connect right in the nuts, not hard either, but just hard enough to watch how I sat in the truck as I drove home.

I still think a 3/8 female brass quick connect at 70 mph and up, whipping around at the end of a solution hose is the weapon of choice in the carpet cleaning van. I think my Prochem stair wand would serve pretty well. I had to knock out charging rottweiler once with my wand. they do make a good weapon .

That's real funny that happened to you, cause back in the early 90's a friend of mind must have run into the same guy you did, except when my friend told him to get a job after being harassed for money, the guy walked out of the restaurant quietly then stole his truck, just about ripped his arm off and the wand and hose broke the storefront window. The wand and some hose was found tucked away under a parked car, and the carpet truck was found 2 years later as the thief was cleaning a restaurant carpet and a neighbour called police to complain about the noise.
 
So the guy did get a job, a free truck and worked for 2 years . Apparently he got no jail time because he claimed that he was a drug addict at the time of the theft, was still in re-hab and was looking for the guy to give back his truck . Only in Canada.

Rest. bar areas some guy was asking for money and i said
get a job he said find me one i said find your own he said
shut the f up and started to get in my face he was a big
boy so up came the wand with a few steam sprays.. Boom"!
he backed off. LOL

That's a good question, let's see ..........We already have a metal 5 foot wand that spews out hot water at 600 psi, carpet rakes, upholstery wand that can be used like a nunchuck, some of us have some bad ass chemicals that can blind, burn, or worst if sprayed in the mouth, we have a 2 ton truck that can do alot of damage, a horn to attract attention, and I always carry a set of golf clubs, a baseball bat, a bowling ball, ans ski poles just in case I get the urge or finish my day early. Nah, I don't think we need any weapons.....Do You.
