We are back safe and sound.

Yes, a few scary moments but Carnival have orchestrated a financial marketing strategy whereby they have totally refunded all costs. Carnival put us up in five star hotels in San Diego, arranged flights home and have offered and additional 7 day free cruise within a year.

Maybe they figured if they did not there would have been mutiny. But, it's nice to be back in the land of flushing toilets.

It's just amazing how much we take hot water, hot meals and flushing toilets for granted. Toilet Pusher

The good news is, Carnival has stepped up to the plate. Ted and Linda went to have a small one week holiday on the cruise ship Splender.

No lights, lots of sanwiches and my bet is that Ted is doing a lot of magic tricks for the stranded passengers.  I can't wait until they dock and hear that they are alright.
