I just did a limestone floor that looked like travertine.
3 seals  and 3 wax coats it still looked dull. I though I would high speed buff it using a hog hair still no shine then put more coats and used white pad and all it did was with that high rpm was fuse the  polymeer from the wax still no shine. This floor originally was to be honed. I do not do that.
Anyways I spilled so much wax tipping the  5 gal bucket as I worked took a day to dry and yes I got glass !! Got 5 grand and to the bank!
I was getting very scared 1.75 million dollar home. Approx 1700 sq ft.
I just did not give up keep asking questions.
