Dennis,

Take a look at the specs here. We consider this a poor mans truckmount. Carpet cleaning portables would never need this kind of PSI. But it has been built as a combination carpet & hard surface cleaner. This unit in combination with the Turbo Hybrid will be a definite money maker.

Keeping in mind that less carpet is being layed today. It's a no-brainer to think taht hard surface flooring is possibly both of our futures.

Dennis: You will need an external heater with it  for upholstery cleaning. Every available amp is needed to drive the vac motors and pump. Will this Aeroteck portable have heat too.  I'm looking for a hi-performance portable for smaller jobs in the winter on slow days so I don't have to re-winterize my TM.  Tell me more about this machine.

The device that makes it all possible is one that I did invent Ed, and will be licencing . I would not expect you to understand how it works. The fact that it does work and that it will allow 4 motors and a 500 PSI pump to work on only 2 cords, and that these machines are going to be sold very soon is the important point I wanted to make. Ken;

In regards to my comments & long experience on Watts/Amp draw:

Perhaps you should go back to reading "books" too because somethings just don't change. 2 + 2 = 4 in life and in any Math book I have ever consulted. Likewise, 120v (and/or 240v) is 120v and has its limitations as well. Just common-sense.

Wether you consider yourself an Einstein, or an inventor, I suggest that you don't push the truth too far since this very important vertue may expose something more than just your behind.

Lets develop new and better products for our Industry without over-promising the Professional unneccesarily . And, many who may honestly, but unsuspectingly, rely on what we say on these boards.

That just makes common-sense to me. How about you sir?

According to the science books, the bubblebee can not fly either Ed. Fortunatly, it does not read the books! I do not read the books that say this can not be done either(4 vac motors and a pump) on 2 circuits; I just do it and have been doing it for many years on my own equipment. Chuck;

Here is what we know in regards to amp draw.

The amperage required to run ---four--- 2 Stage vac motors is approx. 34.5 amps w/o running a pump.

The amperage running most any 3-stage or two stage vacuum motor set-up along with a 500 psi pump would far exceed 2-15 amp circuits.

Bottom line is : "You can't cheat Mother Watts!" no matter who you are. I know this because we market all over the world and this has always been the rule of thumb, period.

The primary goal of a (good) manufacturer is not to Max out amp draw requirements because doing so will only cause frustrations for the Operator blowing circuits.

The 3 Raptors are still being used everyday in Calgary, which is more than I can say for any portable that claims 340"WL(25"HG). The hoses would have imploded long ago.
