I have used a rug doctor and got very good results... but I've done this before and know what I'm doing. Karcher machines are usually hard on the back IMHO (especially if you are on the tall side). If I had my druthers I would use the Rug Doctor but thats just me. Looking to hire a carpet cleaner. RugDoctor seems to be everywhere but are the machines any good or is it just a successful franchise? I want to clean my carpets but some people have told me RugDoctors are rubbish...
