Well, we had an evening last Thursday to honor Don Eldred of Cambridge Carpet Cleaning as he is a great guy who has helped many along the road to success, even his competitors.

A funny story was told that happened a few years back. Don was cleaning a building when he see's his competitor walk through the door with a machine. Don says "What are you doing here? this is my job". The competitor said "I am here to clean the upholstery".

Both of them learned a lesson that night.

When booking a carpet job always let them know that you also clean upholstery and can also offer other cleaning services if needed...and vice-versa.

The FIO has decided to present the Jim Darling award to Don Eldred known here on this board as "Cleanex" on Oct 11 at Le Jardin Banquet Hall.

Ted of Kleen Kuip will be hosting and roasting our friend Don who had contributed more to this industry than I could ever hope to.
